By now everyone has seen Kanye West storm the stage at the VMA's 2009, to tell Taylor Swift and the whole world that she did not deserve to win the award for best female video.

Although I don't agree with the way he handled himself, I still can't deny that what he said was true! Beyonce's Single Ladies video was a gazzillion times better. I do feel bad for Swift however, because this is an unbelievable achievement and she should have been allowed to have her moment in the sun without Mr. West throwing all that uneeded shade on her.

Kanye is no stranger to controversy. Before this incident he was one of the most hated (none-the-less best selling) rap artist in the United States, for saying that
'George Bush doesn't care about black people'.
He made that infamous statement during an appeal to help the victims of Katrina.

Despite the controversial nature of Kanye's statements they are usually true. The people of the United States did come to find that Bush doesn't care about black or arabic or asian or white people for that matter. And if these same people were to objectively compare Swifts video to Beyonce's they would find that indeed Beyonce's video is far superior, and might in fact go down as one of the greatest video's of all time alongside Michael Jackson's Thriller. As proof of the fact Beyonce went on to win the Best Video award. Meaning her's was the best music video of 2009, period.

When she was presented with her award for Best Video, Beyonce made an amazing gesture by inviting Taylor Swift to come back onstage to finish her speech.
